The Townhouse is in the middle of Wimborne Minster, just off the square. It's a tall Georgian place, five storeys including the cellar kitchen. It's listed, so it's got the original floors and windows. You're right in the town, so you can hear the church bells, which some people like. The Tivoli Theatre is literally next door, which is handy if you've got tickets for a show.
It sleeps ten, in five bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is the main thing with a group that size. There's one bedroom on the ground floor. The stairs are the original ones, so they're quite steep and a bit narrow. If you have trouble with stairs, the ground floor room is there.
You're about a minute's walk from the main shops, cafes, and pubs. The Gin House is popular. The Minster is worth a look, it's very old. Parking isn't at the house. There's a public car park about a five minute walk away, and we provide a permit for your stay.
Outside, there's an enclosed patio with a table and a barbecue. It's not huge, but it's private. A park is a couple of minutes away if you need more space, or if you've brought the dogs.
For days out, the coast is about half an hour's drive. Sandbanks, Bournemouth, Studland. Poole Harbour is good for a boat trip. Inland, you've got the New Forest which is about twenty minutes. For a proper walk, the Jurassic Coast is under an hour. Kingston Lacy, the National Trust house, is just outside Wimborne.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The fireplace in the front room is open, so you can have a real fire. We provide the wood.
