Castle House Cottage
This is Castle House Cottage in Horton. It's attached to our house but it's totally separate. You've got your own door, a bit of garden, and parking on the drive.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything's on the ground floor which is handy.
There's a woodburning stove for colder nights. It's got the usual stuff: Wi-Fi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
The village is quiet, mostly fields. There's a pub a few minutes walk away. The nearest shop is about two miles.
You're in a good spot here. The New Forest is about a 20 minute drive. Poole and Bournemouth are roughly half an hour. You can be on the Sandbanks beach in about 35 minutes if the traffic's okay.
