Bramble Cottage
Bramble Cottage is in Wimborne Minster. It's detached, but we live next door. You reach it down an unmade lane. It's quiet.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. You can bring up to two dogs.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have pets or children. There's a patio area too. Inside, there's a woodburning stove for the cooler evenings, plus the usual things like a TV, wifi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking on site.
You can walk into Wimborne town centre in a few minutes. There are shops, pubs, and restaurants. The closest pub that does food is about a quarter of a mile away.
In terms of things to do, Kingston Lacy house is close by. It's a National Trust property with nice grounds. Poole Harbour is about a twenty minute drive. From there you can get boats over to Brownsea Island. The big sandy beaches are at Sandbanks and Bournemouth, which are in the same direction, maybe twenty-five minutes.
If you go the other way, towards Wareham, you're into the Purbecks. Corfe Castle is there, and the sea at Swanage. The New Forest is about a twenty minute drive to the east.
