West View
This is West View. It's a bungalow on our property in Henbury. It's detached and all on one floor, which is good if you don't want stairs. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You get the whole garden to yourselves. It's enclosed and lawned, so it's safe for kids and dogs. We allow up to two pets. There's also a games room with a pool table and table football, which is handy if the weather turns.
The location is quiet. You're down a long drive with views over fields. Right from the garden gate you can get onto footpaths and bridleways that go all the way into Wareham. It's good for walks without using the car.
For the coast, you're about a 20 minute drive from Poole Harbour and Sandbanks. The Jurassic Coast is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes to Lulworth or Durdle Door. The New Forest is about half an hour's drive north.
A local shop and a pub are about half a mile down the lane. The pub does food. For a bigger shop, you'd want to drive into Wareham.
Inside, it's comfortable and has what you need. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust and Jurassic Coast sites are useful for maps and opening times.
