Holly Lodge is on a farm just outside the village of Slepe, near Lytchett Matravers. It's a semi-detached cottage with its own garden. The front looks onto the farmyard.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms upstairs and a family bathroom. We've got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep.
You've got a wood burner in the lounge, which is good for cooler evenings. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
The local pub is about two miles away in Lytchett Matravers. They do food. The village has a shop and a post office too.
You're about a fifteen minute drive from Poole Harbour. You can get boat trips from there over to Brownsea Island. The nearest beach, at Sandbanks, is about seven miles. The whole Jurassic Coast is within reach. Places like Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are about forty minutes by car.
If you want to walk, the farm is right on the edge of the Dorset Heaths. There's a golf course, Bulbury Woods, basically next door. You can see it from the garden.
