Arne Barn
Arne Barn is in Arne, near Wareham. It's a detached barn conversion my family's had for a long time. It's in a wild garden, which basically means we let it grow. You get good views over the farm and a bit of the harbour in the distance.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is full of books and old board games. There are a lot of ornaments and things, mostly nature themed. It's a bit of a personal collection.
The garden has a couple of spots to sit out. There's a woodburning stove and a BBQ. You've got the usual: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Bedding is included, and there's a cot and highchair. Parking for two cars on the drive. We allow two well-behaved dogs.
The RSPB reserve at Arne is right on the doorstep. You can walk into it. For beaches, Sandbanks is about a half hour drive. Brownsea Island is in Poole Harbour, you get the ferry from Sandbanks. Corfe Castle is ten miles away, Wareham about the same.
Poole and Bournemouth are within 25 miles if you need bigger towns. You can find riding and fishing nearby.
The nearest shop is three miles away in Stoborough.
