This is Arne Barn. It's in the middle of the Arne Peninsula, near Wareham. It's detached and was converted from a barn. We've had it in the family a while.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. The garden is big and a bit wild. You can see the farm next door and a little bit of Poole Harbour in the distance.
The main thing is the location. It's very quiet. You're right next to the RSPB Arne reserve. You can walk straight into it. If you like birds and nature, you can't really do better.
For beaches, you've got Studland and Shell Bay about a fifteen minute drive. Sandbanks and Bournemouth are a bit further. Corfe Castle is about ten miles. Wareham town is closer, for shops and things.
The house itself is full of stuff. Lots of books, games, and ornaments. It's not minimalist. It's got a woodburning stove for colder nights. The wifi works.
Practical stuff: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, parking for a couple of cars. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs. We include all the bedding. There's a cot and a highchair.
