It's called Simkin, in Wareham town. It's one of a pair of 1950s bungalows, semi-detached.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 2 Star rating. It's clean and works fine, but it's not a show home. Everything is on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
You can walk into the town centre in a few minutes. There's a shop and a pub about 100 yards away. The pub does food.
The bungalow has a small private patio garden out the back. There's a washing machine, a TV, and parking right outside. It's got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. You can bring up to three dogs.
Wareham itself is an old Saxon town on the River Frome. It's a good spot for getting out to the coast and the Purbecks. Studland beach is about a 20 minute drive, Swanage is about 15 minutes. For walks, the Dorset section of the South West Coast Path is close by.
Corfe Castle is a 10 minute drive. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are about 25 minutes. For a longer day out, you can get to the National Trust sites on the coast or onto the heathland inland within half an hour.
