The Duck House is in Wool. It's a first-floor apartment, sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The living room is light and spacious. There's a TV. The kitchen has been redone and has everything you need. There's a hatch through to the living room so you can talk to people while you're cooking. We leave a welcome pack with some local bits for you.
Outside, there's a lawned garden with a patio for you to use. There's a small stream at the bottom that ducks visit sometimes, hence the name.
You can walk to the village shops. There's a good bakery and a deli. The train station is about a ten-minute walk away, with direct trains to London. Buses go to Weymouth and Poole.
The coast is about five miles away. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are a short drive. Weymouth and Swanage are within half an hour. The South West Coast Path is close by if you want a proper walk.
In terms of things to do, the Tank Museum is in Bovington, just down the road. Corfe Castle isn't far. For a day out, you could go to the RSPB reserve at Arne or to Monkey World.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The garden is enclosed. No pets, I'm afraid.
