The Stables
The Stables is our place in Blacknoll. It's a converted barn, so it's all on one level. It's detached, in the grounds of the main house, which is a listed building. You get your own garden. It's very quiet out here, you'll hear birds and not much else.
It sleeps four. Two double bedrooms, both with their own shower rooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's new and it's kept clean.
The kitchen has what you need: oven, hob, fridge, microwave. There's a coffee machine. The living area is open plan with a smart TV. The door into the cottage is a stable door, which is nice in the summer.
The entrance and the main rooms are level, so it's suitable for a wheelchair. There's parking right outside.
There's a pub about a ten minute walk away. They do food. Weymouth is about seven miles. Dorchester is about the same. The coast at Lulworth is under a ten minute drive. You can walk from there to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.
For a day out, the Tank Museum at Bovington is very close. Monkey World is about twenty minutes away. Poole Harbour is roughly half an hour.
The heathland and nature reserve start practically from the gate. Good for walks if you don't want to drive anywhere.
Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there. Sorry, no pets.
