Durdle Dreams
Durdle Dreams is a detached thatched cottage in West Lulworth. It sleeps eight people, over four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The lounge has a wood burner. There's a separate second living area, which could be for kids or if you need to work. The kitchen is modern and big, with an island. The beams are exposed downstairs. The garden wraps around the cottage, it's enclosed and there's a patio.
The village shop is a couple of minutes walk away. The pub, which is also thatched, is about five minutes. They do food and have local ales.
You can walk to Lulworth Cove from the cottage. It's less than a mile. It's a sheltered beach, good for swimming. The South West Coast Path from the cove leads to Durdle Door. That's the famous arch in the sea. It's a proper walk with some steep steps.
If you drive, there's a lot within half an hour. The Tank Museum at Bovington is very close. So is Monkey World. Corfe Castle and the steam railway to Swanage aren't far. Wareham is a market town about fifteen minutes away.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking on site. We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
