Durdle Dreams is in West Lulworth. It's a detached, thatched cottage, so it's just you and your party. The garden wraps around the house. It's enclosed, so it's safe for dogs and kids.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. There are beams downstairs, they're low in a couple of places.
There's a wood burner in the main living room. The kitchen is big and modern, with an island. There's a separate sitting area too, which is useful if people want to watch something different.
The village shop is a two minute walk. The pub, which is also thatched, is about five minutes away. They do food. Lulworth Cove is a short walk down the hill. It's a sheltered bay, good for a swim if you don't mind it being a bit pebbly. You can get boat trips from there.
The coastal path from the cove leads to Durdle Door. It's a steep climb in parts, but the view of the arch is worth it. It's about a mile and a half walk each way.
Within half an hour's drive you've got the Tank Museum at Bovington, Monkey World, and Corfe Castle. You can get the steam railway from Corfe Castle down to Swanage. Weymouth and Poole are also within that radius if you want a bigger town.
Facilities wise: there's parking for two cars on the drive, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a games room in the outbuilding. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate.
