Hambury House

Hambury House is in West Lulworth. It's a new build but done as a thatched cottage, so it feels old but everything works properly. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The rating is 5 Star, which basically means it's very well finished and has good quality stuff.

You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which is handy for that. There's parking on the drive for a couple of cars.

It's right in the middle of the village. You can walk to the village shop in a minute. There are a couple of pubs close by, including The Castle Inn which is very old and thatched. The kitchen is big and has a lot of equipment if you like cooking.

Lulworth Cove is about a ten minute walk down the hill. It's a sheltered little bay, good for a swim if you don't mind pebbles. Durdle Door is the other way, maybe a twenty minute walk along the coast path. It's that big stone arch you see in pictures.

Within half an hour's drive you've got Weymouth, which is a proper seaside town with a big sandy beach. Dorchester is about twenty minutes inland if you need bigger shops.
