Hambury House
Hambury House is a five-star cottage in West Lulworth. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The place is new-built but it's thatched, which looks nice.
It's a big house, so it's good for families or friends sharing. The kitchen has a lot of equipment if you like cooking. The dining table fits everyone. Upstairs, the main bedroom has its own shower room.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. The listing says you can bring two.
It's right in the village. You can walk to the village shop and a couple of pubs in a few minutes. The Castle Inn is an old thatched pub, it's about two minutes away.
From the house, you can walk down to Lulworth Cove in about ten minutes. It's a sheltered bay, good for a swim. The coast path from there to Durdle Door is about a mile. It's uphill on the way back.
If you drive, Wool station is about four miles for trains. Weymouth is about twelve miles, so maybe twenty-five minutes by car. The Tank Museum at Bovington is very close, less than ten minutes away. For a longer trip, Corfe Castle is about fifteen minutes’ drive.
In terms of facilities, it's all there. WiFi, washing machine, parking for two cars on the drive. Cots and highchairs are available.
