The Coach House is in Wool, Dorset. It used to be part of the big estate here. It's a big place, sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. So no queuing.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's not a hotel, it's a holiday house. It works for families or a group of friends.
The parking is right there, on site. The garden is private. There's a BBQ if the weather plays ball.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
Wool has a train station, which is useful. There's a local pub within walking distance. A shop too.
You're about twenty minutes from the coast. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are the big ones there. The South West Coast Path runs right past them.
Wareham is a ten-minute drive. It's an old town, has a few shops and a supermarket. The heath and forest around there are good for walks.
Monkey World is just outside Wool, maybe five minutes by car. Tank Museum at Bovington is even closer. If you fancy a longer day out, Weymouth or Dorchester are within half an hour.
For planning trips, the National Trust Dorset page is good, and the Jurassic Coast Trust site has all the geology and walking info.
