This is Keepers Cottage, in Wool, Dorset. It's one of a row of cottages, so you've got neighbours on one side. The garden is yours though, it's enclosed.
It sleeps seven, in three bedrooms. The unusual thing is that each bedroom has its own bathroom. That's quite handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's not minimalist, let's say. The previous owner collected things, so there's a lot of antique furniture and railway memorabilia on the walls. It feels a bit like a family museum.
The stairs are open-tread and steep. Just so you know.
You've got a pub and a restaurant about a five-minute walk away. The village shop is a mile. Wool itself has a few shops, a bakery, and a train station if you need it.
You're well-placed here. The coast at Lulworth is about five miles. That's where you get Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Swanage is along the coast, it's a proper seaside town with a beach and boat trips. The Tank Museum and Monkey World are very close by, maybe a ten-minute drive.
The facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning trips, these sites are useful: National Trust Dorset and for the coast, the Jurassic Coast Trust.
