Swallows Nest is a converted barn on a quiet lane in Wool. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls. The views from here are good, out over the fields.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both rooms have their own ensuite shower room, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept. The main living space is open plan with high ceilings, so it feels quite airy. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings, and an air con unit that also works as a heater.
There's a family of swallows that nests here, hence the name. You'll hear them in the morning. We've left some binoculars if you want to watch them.
Outside, there's a patio at the front and another at the back, so you can follow the sun. There's also a covered area with a table tennis table. The garden is enclosed.
You're about five miles from the coast at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Wool village has a shop, a bakery, and a butcher. There's a pub and a restaurant a quarter of a mile away.
For days out, the Tank Museum at Bovington is close. Corfe Castle is a short drive. The whole Jurassic Coast is on your doorstep for walking. Swanage and Weymouth are both within easy reach.
Facilities: there's parking, wifi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
