Meadow Barn

Meadow Barn is a converted barn in Wool, on a quiet lane with fields around it. It's all on one floor, apart from a step into the main living area.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and has one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. There's a woodburning stove, which we supply some logs for. The garden is enclosed and gets the sun in the morning.

You're quite rural here, but Wool village is about an eight minute walk away. There's a shop, a bakery, a few pubs, and a train station. The station goes to Dorchester one way and to Wareham and Poole the other. That's useful if you don't want to drive everywhere.

The coast is the main thing. It's about a ten minute drive to Lulworth Cove. Durdle Door is just along from there. The whole Jurassic Coast is right on your doorstep for walking. For a bigger, sandy beach, Weymouth is about twenty five minutes away.

Other places within half an hour: Bovington Tank Museum is very close. Monkey World is about fifteen minutes away. Corfe Castle and the Swanage Railway are about twenty minutes. If you like birds, the RSPB reserve at Arne is worth a trip.

For facilities, it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking for two cars on the gravel next to the barn. All the bedding and towels are included. There are grab rails in the bathroom.
