Coach House
This is the Coach House in Wareham. It's a detached stone barn we converted years ago. It's got its own big garden, which is fully enclosed. You can see the shared outdoor swimming pool from the living room window. It's not heated, so it's warmest in high summer.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. You're welcome to walk in our woodland grounds. The path goes down to the River Frome.
Wareham itself is a small, quiet town. It's old, with Saxon walls you can walk around. The town museum is good if you like that sort of thing. The main shops and a supermarket are about a quarter of a mile away.
Corfe Castle is about six miles. It's a proper ruin on a hill. The National Trust run it. Poole Harbour is seven miles away. You can get a ferry from there to Brownsea Island, which has red squirrels. The beach at Studland is about eight miles. Bournemouth's sandy beach is a 30 minute drive.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. We allow one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside.
