Robins Nest
Robins Nest is in Slepe, Dorset. It's a detached cottage, so no neighbours through the walls. You can take up to two dogs, which is good if you've got them.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well kept.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy with dogs or kids. There's a patio area too. Inside, there's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. It works, we keep it stocked. There's a washing machine, a cot, a highchair and a stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site.
The cottage is rural. The nearest pub and restaurant is about two miles away in Lytchett Matravers. They do food. The shop is there too.
For the coast, it's about a twenty minute drive to Poole Harbour. You can get boat trips from there to Brownsea Island. The Jurassic Coast is about half an hour's drive, maybe a bit more depending on traffic. You've got Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove that way.
If you like walking, there's coastal path and countryside. For golf, Bulbury Woods Golf Club is literally down the lane, less than a minute's drive. Horse riding can be arranged locally.
