Haycraft Cottage

Haycraft Cottage is in Harman's Cross, just outside Corfe Castle. It's a detached stone cottage with its own enclosed garden. You're on the edge of a Caravan Club site, so it's quiet. The garden gets sun and has a proper lawn.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two doubles and a twin. One family bathroom and a separate toilet downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is about right. It's comfortable and well looked after.

Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. It works well. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a utility room with a washing machine. The stairs are standard cottage stairs. The beams are low in a couple of doorways, so just mind your head.

For getting about, you can walk to the Swanage Railway at Harman's Cross station. It's steam and diesel trains into Swanage or up to Corfe Castle. Swanage beach is good, sandy and shelving. For a longer coastal walk, the South West Coast Path is accessible from there.

Corfe Castle is about ten minutes by car. The ruins are impressive. National Trust Corfe Castle has all the details. Poole Harbour is about twenty minutes drive. You can get boat trips from there. Bournemouth is roughly half an hour if you want a bigger town with a pier.

Facilities wise: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
