Haycraft Cottage

Haycraft Cottage is in Harman's Cross. It's down a lane, on the edge of a quiet Caravan Club site. You get the whole detached stone cottage and your own garden to yourselves.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two doubles and a twin. There's one bathroom, downstairs as well as a separate toilet in the utility room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are the original cottage ones, so they're a bit steep and turn a corner.

The living room has a wood burner. It works well. There's a conservatory that leads out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, mostly lawn with some flower beds. There's a stone well in the corner, it's capped off so it's safe.

The Swanage Railway runs nearby. You can hear the steam trains sometimes, which is nice if you like that sort of thing. You can walk to Harman's Cross station in about ten minutes to catch a train to Corfe Castle or Swanage. Swanage has a sandy beach and the usual seaside things.

For a bigger beach, Studland is about twenty minutes by car. That's National Trust land. The coast path there is good. Corfe Castle is ten minutes away. Poole Harbour and Bournemouth are within half an hour if you fancy that.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars. We provide bedding and towels. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
