The Sloop

The Sloop is a place in Swanage, on the high street. It's a duplex apartment, so it's spread over two floors. It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is a wet room.

The main living area is on the ground floor. It's open plan, with the kitchen, dining table and sofas all in one space. There's a smart TV. The best thing about that room is the view. You look right down the high street and can see the sea at the end. It's good for watching the world go by.

The main bedroom is on the ground floor too, with a king size bed and its own wet room shower. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, a double and a twin, and the main bathroom with a bath and a shower cubicle.

Outside, there's a shared balcony. It gets the evening sun. You can sit out there with a drink.

Parking is in a garage a short walk away. Once you're parked, you don't really need the car. The beach is less than a hundred yards away. All the shops, pubs and places to eat in Swanage are right on your doorstep.

The property is a 4 Star, which means it's well looked after and has good facilities. Everything like bedding, towels, WiFi is included. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. We can provide a cot and highchair.

For walking, you're on the Jurassic Coast. The coastal path is right there. You can get the chain ferry from Studland, about three miles away, over to Sandbanks. Poole Harbour isn't far, where you can get boats out to places like Brownsea Island. If you're looking for things to do further out, the National Trust Dorset site is useful, and Jurassic Coast for walking and geology.

No pets, sorry.
