The Sloop Swanage

The Sloop is a duplex apartment on the high street in Swanage. It's a town house with shops around it and the sea at the bottom of the road.

It sleeps six, over three floors. There are three bedrooms. One king-sized bedroom with a wet room shower is on the ground floor. The other two, a double and a twin, are upstairs on the first floor. The main bathroom with a bath and shower is up there too. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The living room and kitchen are on the middle floor. It’s one open-plan space. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob. There’s a smart TV.

It’s a heritage property. That means there are steps. There are steps into the building and steps between floors inside.

On the ground floor, there’s a shared balcony that runs along the front. You get your bit of it. It catches the evening sun.

Parking is provided in a garage about 30 seconds walk away. On the high street itself you really can’t park.

The beach is less than a hundred yards away. It’s all there: the town, shops, pubs, fish and chips. You’re on the Jurassic Coast for walking. The National Trust has a guide for the area.

Within about half an hour you can drive to Studland for the chain ferry over to Sandbanks. Corfe Castle is inland, about fifteen minutes. Poole Harbour is maybe twenty-five minutes away. Brownsea Island is there if you want to go.

For facilities: bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair. Wifi is included. There’s no garden, just the balcony. No pets.
