Fernlea Acton

Fernlea is in Acton in Dorset. It's a stone house for a lot of people, really. It sleeps fourteen, seven bedrooms, and they all have their own bathroom. It's got a Four Star rating, which means it's well done and comfortable.

The house is on the edge of the hamlet. It looks out over fields towards Swanage Bay. It's been renovated, so everything works and it's in good order. There's a garden that's just for the house.

You're about a mile from the coast at Dancing Ledge. Swanage is three miles. It's a proper seaside town with a sandy beach, shops, and places to eat. The coastal path is right there if you want to walk.

Studland is about four miles away. The beach there is very good. There's a nature reserve and you can get the chain ferry from there over to Sandbanks and Bournemouth. Corfe Castle is six miles. You can get a steam train there from Swanage.

For days out, Poole and Bournemouth are about twenty miles. Wareham is eight miles. There's golf four miles away.

Things to know: the stairs inside are cottage stairs. Some are steep. There's a shop half a mile away and three pubs within a mile.

Facilities are all there. Woodburner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TVs. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can bring one dog.
