Bramble Cottage is in Ulwell, which is just outside Swanage. It's a 17th century cottage so it's got those old wooden beams. The garden is enclosed and private, with a summerhouse.
It sleeps six in total. There's the main cottage, which sleeps four. Then right next door there's a separate annex with a double bedroom and its own bathroom for the other two. It means a group can have a bit of space in the evenings. The ceilings are low in places. Both the main cottage and the annex have steep, narrow staircases.
You're right opposite Ulwell Holiday Park. You can use their indoor pool and the kids' play area. There's a shop and a pub, The Village Inn, across the road. They do food.
Swanage is a couple of miles away. The beach is good. They've got a steam railway there. For walking, the coast path is right there. You can walk to Studland, which is about four miles. The ferry from Studland goes over to Poole and Bournemouth.
Lots to see within half an hour's drive. Corfe Castle is about ten minutes away. Then there's Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. For a different sort of day, the Tank Museum at Bovington or Monkey World are both close.
The facilities are what you'd expect. There's a wood burner, a washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but because of the stairs inside, it wouldn't suit someone who needs to stay on one level.
