Mulberry Cottage is in Acton hamlet, just over a mile from the coast. It's one of a pair of old quarrymen's cottages at the end of a row of three. They're Grade II listed, so they look the part.
It sleeps two, in one bedroom. There's one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, which is about right. It's comfortable and clean, not modernised. You can have up to two dogs.
The garden is enclosed, which is handy. It's got a patio area and looks out towards Swanage Bay. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
It's quiet here. There's a pub about a mile away. The closest shop is half a mile. For a proper town, Swanage is two and a half miles. They've got a sandy beach, shops, and places to eat. The coastal path is right there for walking. Dancing Ledge is about a mile away on the cliffs.
For a longer drive, Bournemouth is 25 miles and Poole is 20. Both have all the usual things.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, wifi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.
