The Loft House
The Loft House is in Merley, which is just outside Wimborne Minster. It's up a private drive, so it's quiet. The house is detached.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything's new, but the main room is up in the loft. The ceiling is quite low in parts because of the roof shape. It's fine if you're average height, but if you're very tall you might need to watch your head.
There's a patio with seating. You can use the BBQ. The kitchen has a washing machine.
Wimborne is about two miles away. It's a nice market town with shops, a few decent pubs, and places to eat. You can walk into town if you want, but it's a bit of a trek.
For days out, the coast is about half an hour's drive. You've got Poole Harbour and Bournemouth beach to the east. To the west, you can get to the National Trust bits of the Jurassic Coast, like Durdle Door, in roughly 40 minutes depending on traffic. Corfe Castle and Wareham are closer, maybe 20 minutes.
The New Forest isn't far either, about a 25 minute drive to the edge of it. Good for walking.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, wifi, parking. There's a TV. No pets, I'm afraid.
