The Haybarn

The Haybarn is near Ferndown in Dorset. It's a converted barn, so it's big and open inside. It sleeps twelve people across six bedrooms, and there are four bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable.

It's detached and you get your own enclosed garden with a patio, a BBQ, and a hot tub. The garden is fully enclosed. There's parking right outside.

Inside, it's all on one level with wheelchair access at the entrance. There's underfloor heating and a woodburning stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a washing machine. We've put in books, board games, and a record player with a stack of old vinyl.

You also get shared use of a games room with table football and table tennis, and outside there's a play area for kids with a slide and a playhouse. There's a big outdoor chess set, badminton, and space for a kickabout. Because there are horses and livestock in the nearby stables, fireworks are not allowed at any time.

You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.

The property is on the Castleman Trailway, which is a gravel track good for walking or cycling straight from the door. One route goes to a local pub and a golf course. The coast at Bournemouth or Poole is about a twenty minute drive. The Jurassic Coast is within easy reach for walking.
