Moorland Lodge
Moorland Lodge is on Chalbury Common. It’s a one-bedroom bungalow, so everything is on one level. It sleeps two.
It’s light inside. You’ve got two sets of French doors that open onto your own bit of lawn with a table and chairs. The main garden is about five acres, which you share with us and our dog. He’s friendly.
Walking starts from the gate. Holt Heath Nature Reserve is just down the road if you like that sort of thing.
The nearest shop and pub are two miles away in Horton. Wimborne Minster is about five miles, so 15 minutes in the car.
The coast is about ten miles. You can get to Bournemouth or the Purbecks in half an hour or so. Poole Harbour is similar. The New Forest is a 40-minute drive.
It’s got a 4 Star rating. There’s parking, WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. The bathroom is en-suite.
