Moorland Lodge is out on Chalbury Common. It's a single-storey bungalow on the owner's land, set back from the road. You'll share the grounds with them and their dog. It's a quiet spot.
The place is done to a 4 Star standard, so it's comfortable and well-presented. It's all on one level, which is handy. It sleeps two in one bedroom, which has an en suite shower room.
There are French doors that open onto your own private lawned area with a table and chairs. It gets the sun. The inside is bright and spacious for a two-person place.
There's a shop and a pub in West Moors, about two miles away. The coast is about a ten-mile drive. You've got Bournemouth and Sandbanks to the east, and the Purbecks and Durdle Door to the west. For a shorter drive, Cranborne Common is right here for local walks. Holt Heath Nature Reserve is nearby if you like wildlife.
Wimborne Minster is five miles away for a bit more of a town. The New Forest is about a 20-minute drive north. If you want a full day out, the New Forest National Park is good for walking and seeing the ponies. It's all flat heathland and woods over there.
In terms of what's here, it's got a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets sorry.
