The Old Dairy is on the edge of Ferndown in Dorset. It's a converted farm building, so it's single storey. There are a few other holiday lets in the same group of buildings.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not a showhome.
Outside, you have your own enclosed patio with a hot tub. There's also a shared games room with table football and table tennis. The owners keep horses in the stables next door, so fireworks aren't allowed. There's a track that leads straight onto the Castleman Trailway for walks or cycles.
There's a pub and a Chinese restaurant about a mile away, you can walk it along the trail. The nearest shop is in Ferndown, a couple of miles by car.
You're about 10 miles from the coast at Bournemouth and Poole. For a nicer beach, head towards Studland or Sandbanks. The National Trust has several places nearby like Kingston Lacy. The Kingston Lacy Estate is close, and the Jurassic Coast is about half an hour's drive.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a woodburner, a dishwasher, a washing machine. They've left some books, board games, and a record player with a box of vinyl. The WiFi is fine.
Parking is on site. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. They can provide a cot and highchair.
