The Old Dairy
The Old Dairy is one of five cottages here, near Ferndown in Dorset. It used to be part of a farm, so you're next to horse stables. You get your own garden and a hot tub.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and there are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place was done up not long ago, so it feels fresh. There's a record player with a stack of old vinyl if you fancy that.
The stairs are a bit steep, just so you know. It's all on one level inside though, so it's okay if you have mobility issues getting in.
There's a shared games barn with table tennis and football. Outside, there's more, like boules and badminton. If you're bringing a horse, you can sort stabling with us directly.
You're right on the Castleman Trailway, which is good for walks and bikes. It's a gravel track. One way takes you to a pub and a golf course. A shop is about a mile and a half away.
You can get to the coast, places like Bournemouth or Poole sands, in about half an hour. The Jurassic Coast is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. For history, Kingston Lacy is nearby and worth a look.
Facilities: you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's parking right outside.
Just so it's clear, no fireworks are allowed because of the horses and livestock nearby.
