The Barn
The Barn is in Burley Street, which is in the New Forest. It's a converted barn in the garden of the main house. It's just for two people, so it's quite compact.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's been done up to a high standard. There are things like Egyptian cotton sheets. There's a wood burner, which is nice in the colder months. The stairs to the sleeping area are a spiral staircase. They're fine, but they are a spiral staircase, so watch your head.
You've got your own little patio and garden area out the front. There's parking right there.
The local shop and a couple of pubs are about three quarters of a mile away. For a bigger shop, Ringwood is about a six minute drive. It's a proper market town.
You're right in the New Forest National Park, so you can walk straight out onto the heath. The ponies and deer are often around. The coast at Highcliffe or Barton-on-Sea is about eight miles. You can go sailing from Lymington or Mudeford, both within half an hour.
Inside, it's all open plan downstairs. There's a kitchen area with a dishwasher and washing machine, a sitting area with a TV, and the wood burner. Up the spiral stairs is the double bed. There's one bathroom with a shower. We include all the bedding and towels. There's a cot if you need it, but no pets sorry.
