This is Lilypad. It’s in Ringwood, Hampshire, in a quiet residential street. It’s a new build, so everything works and it’s straightforward.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one king and one double. Both have TVs. There’s one family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, living room, dining area. There’s a downstairs loo too. The kitchen has what you’d need. Underfloor heating on the ground floor.
Outside, there’s a small patio with a table and chairs at the front. You can park one car on the drive. There’s a locked store for bikes.
You can walk into Ringwood high street in about ten minutes. It’s a nice old market town. There’s a good mix of shops and cafes, and a weekly market. The Ringwood Brewery is here if you like a tour.
For walks, the Castleman Trail is right nearby on Bickerley Road. It follows the old railway line.
The New Forest is on the doorstep. You can be there in five minutes by car. The free-roaming ponies and donkeys are everywhere. Moors Valley is great for walking and cycling in the forest. The New Forest Water Park is close if you want something more active.
Beaches like Southbourne and Avon Beach are about half an hour away. Other places within a half hour drive include Beaulieu Motor Museum, Liberty’s Owl and Reptile Centre, and Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary. You can get a ferry to the Isle of Wight from Lymington.
Facilities: WiFi, smart TVs, washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
