Weavers Lodge is down a track in South Gorley. It's a single-storey place attached to the main house, but it's private. You get your own enclosed patio with a table.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star. It's clean and modern. The main thing is the view. Big windows look out over fields with horses. It's very quiet.
You're right on the edge of the New Forest. You can walk straight out from the door onto the tracks. The ponies and donkeys wander around. The New Forest National Park site is useful for maps.
There's a good farm shop about a ten minute walk away. They do breakfast and lunch. The closest pub is under a mile. It does food.
If you've brought a dog, it's ideal. The tracks are all there. One pet is allowed.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it.
For a day out, Moors Valley Country Park is about a 20 minute drive. They've got walking trails, cycling, and a play trail. Fordingbridge is a small town about 10 minutes away by car for shops. The coast at Bournemouth is about half an hour's drive. For history, Old Sarum and Salisbury Cathedral are within 30 minutes.
