Weavers Lodge is in South Gorley. It's a single-storey place, so everything is on one level. You get your own garden area, which is enclosed. It's peaceful here. The main windows look out over fields where horses are usually grazing.
It sleeps two people in one bedroom. There's one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern rather than old-fashioned. The owners live next door in the main house, but you have your own entrance and space.
The lodge is down a forest track. You can walk straight out onto the New Forest from here. There are miles of tracks. You'll see the ponies and cattle wandering about. It's good for dogs because of that.
There's an award-winning farm shop about a ten minute walk away. They do good coffee and local food. The nearest pub, which does meals, is just under a mile up the road.
For days out, Fordingbridge is close. It's a small town with shops and places to eat by the river. Ringwood is about a 15 minute drive and has supermarkets and more restaurants. The coast at Bournemouth is about a half hour drive.
If you're bringing a horse, we have stables and a menage here. You need to arrange that with us beforehand.
Facilities are straightforward. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if needed. Parking is right outside. We allow one well-behaved dog.
