Ash Hill is a barn conversion on a farm in Alderholt. It's on the edge of the New Forest, but Hampshire side. You're about 15 miles from the coast.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so one each if you want. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's clean and new. The floors are polished concrete with rugs. The stairs are glass, which looks good but mind your step.
You get your own bit of garden with a firepit and barbecue. There's a pizza oven you can book to use. There are a few other cottages next to it, so you might see other guests. The owners live on site. They've got chickens, so you might get fresh eggs.
The shop is on the farm. The pub is a mile away in the village.
If you're bringing dogs, you can take two. There are good walks from the gate. For things to do, you can fish in the river here. There's archery and axe throwing on the farm. Horse riding is nearby. For a bigger day out, Moors Valley Country Park is about a 20-minute drive. They've got Go Ape, cycling, and walking trails.
Other places within about half an hour: the New Forest Water Park for kayaking, Beaulieu Motor Museum, and the New Forest itself for walking or cycling. The coast at Bournemouth is about 40 minutes.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, bedding and towels are included, parking, Wi-Fi, and an electric car charger you can use.
