Ash Hill
Ash Hill is a barn conversion on our land in Alderholt, Hampshire. It's one of three cottages here, all converted at the same time. They're joined together in a row, but yours is separate inside. If you've got a bigger group, you can book the others as well. We've got a few chickens, so you can get fresh eggs in the morning.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. The floors are polished concrete with rugs, and there's a lot of wood. The stairs are glass, which looks good but just be aware if you've got little ones.
You get your own enclosed bit of garden with a firepit, a barbecue and some seating. There's also a pizza oven that all the cottages can book to use. Views from the cottage look out over the woods, and you can see Fordingbridge church tower in the distance. There's a simple play area for kids.
The location is rural. There's a shop on site, and a pub and restaurant about a mile away in the village. For a beach, you're looking at about 15 miles to the coast.
If you're bringing dogs, that's fine, we take up to two. There are lots of good walks straight from the door. We've also got fishing on the River Avon here, and you can book archery or axe throwing on site. If you want to bring a horse, we have stabling you can arrange beforehand.
Things to do nearby: Moors Valley Country Park is close. They have cycling, Go Ape, and walking trails. The New Forest is right on the doorstep for walking or cycling. For a day out, you've got places like Beaulieu Motor Museum or Marwell Zoo within about half an hour.
Facilities: full fibre broadband, an electric car charger, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
