This is Brookside. It's in Shobley, just inside the New Forest boundary. It's a detached little bungalow that used to be part of a bigger house's outbuildings. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's a 3 Star place, so think clean, warm, and comfortable rather than luxurious. It's all on one level, which is useful. The conservatory is a nice spot in the morning if the sun's out.
You're right in the New Forest here. Ponies and cattle wander past regularly. You can walk straight out from the door onto the heath or into the woods. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Nomansland. The pub does food.
For a day out, you can be on Bournemouth's sandy beach in about half an hour. Salisbury, with the cathedral, is about 40 minutes north. If you fancy watersports, the lakes at Fordingbridge are a short drive. Ringwood is close by for bigger supermarkets.
Facilities: there's a woodburner, which is set for you to use. Washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
