Duck Island Cottage
Duck Island Cottage is just outside Ringwood, on the edge of the New Forest. It's detached, so you're on your own.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after. The stairs are spiral. They're fine, but just so you know.
The garden gets the sun all afternoon. There's a table and chairs out there, and a BBQ. You can lock bikes up in a store.
Inside it's all open plan. Kitchen, table, sofas, all in one room. The shower is a good size. Everything's clean and works.
Ringwood town is about a ten minute drive. It's got shops and pubs. The New Forest is right there. You can walk straight out into it.
The Dorset coast is maybe twenty five minutes south. Poole Harbour, Studland beach, that sort of thing. If you want to go further, the Jurassic Coast is about forty five minutes. Corfe Castle and the steam railway are good for a day out.
