Alices Lodge is a one bedroom place in Foulford, Hampshire. It sleeps three. It's a 4 Star rated lodge, so it's comfortable and well kitted out. Everything's on the ground floor.
The lodge looks out over the garden, which you share with one other cottage. The owners live next door and are helpful if you need anything.
You're right on the edge of the New Forest. You can walk straight out from the garden, through a gate, and onto the heath. The ponies and donkeys wander around freely out there.
There's a pub about a mile away that does food. For a shop, you'll need to drive a couple of miles.
If you want to explore, Burley village is about six miles. It has some nice teashops and gift stores. The coast at Bournemouth is about a 25 minute drive. The New Forest National Park Authority website is good for planning walks and cycles.
For a day out, Beaulieu and the National Motor Museum are close by. Moors Valley Country Park is also nearby and great if you've got kids. Salisbury Cathedral is about a 40 minute drive.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. The bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. It's wheelchair accessible and there's parking right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed.
