Forest Lodge is in South Gorley, right on the edge of the New Forest. It's a detached little place, sleeps two in one bedroom. We're next door, but the lodge is off to the side with its own parking and path. You won't see us unless you need to.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. Everything's on the ground floor, which is handy.
The main thing is the forest. You walk out the gate and you're straight onto the tracks. The ponies and cattle wander right past. You'll see deer sometimes, and all sorts of birds. It's very quiet.
There's a pub about a mile away. A couple of farm shops and tea rooms are close by too. Ringwood and Fordingbridge are about four miles for bigger shops.
If you've got horses, we can do stabling and grazing for two. Just let us know beforehand. There's also a bit of a grassy play area with some goalposts, if you've got kids with you.
The coast at Bournemouth or Poole is roughly a 30 minute drive. Salisbury, for the cathedral, is about 25 minutes. It's a good base for getting around.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and an enclosed garden with a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
