This is Bert's Cottage, on the edge of Fordingbridge town centre. It’s a Victorian semi-detached house, sleeps five, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. You can bring one dog.
It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The garden is enclosed which is handy, and there are two parking spaces right outside.
You can walk into Fordingbridge in a few minutes. There are shops, a couple of pubs, and some places to eat. The medieval bridge over the Avon is nice to look at.
The New Forest is right on the doorstep for walking or cycling. You’re about a 30-minute drive from the coast at Bournemouth or Poole. Salisbury and Winchester are also within that sort of distance if you fancy a city visit. The New Forest National Park website has good information for planning walks.
For facilities, you’ve got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them.
