It's called Little Barn. It's in Alderholt, down a lane on our stud farm. It's a single storey place we converted, so it's all on one level. It's detached.
It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. High vaulted ceiling with beams. The floor is concrete with rugs, so it's practical. It feels light and spacious.
Outside, you get your own decked area. There's also a shared courtyard garden with raised beds where we grow vegetables. Guests can help themselves to herbs. There's a fire pit, a pizza oven and a barbecue out there. The chickens wander about, so you'll get fresh eggs.
If you like walking, you can go straight from the door. There's 40 acres of woodland at the end of the track, which is part of the Avon Valley path. You can fish in the River Avon on the farm. We also have archery and axe throwing available if you book it.
It's a working farm, so you'll see horses about. You can even bring your own horse if you arrange it with us beforehand.
In the area, Moors Valley Country Park is good. They've got cycling, a golf course, and a Go Ape. Alderholt Mill is a working watermill you can visit. For the coast, you're looking at about a 30 minute drive to Bournemouth or Sandbanks.
The nearest shop is on the farm itself. The closest pub is about two miles away in the village.
We allow up to two dogs. There's parking right outside. It has a washing machine, WiFi, and an electric vehicle charger.
If you're planning trips, the New Forest National Park Authority site is useful. For the local country parks, Forestry England for Moors Valley has the details.
