The Hideaway Lower Burgate

The Hideaway is a wooden cabin out the back of our garden. It's on one level. You'll see our house when you drive in, but the cabin is private.

It sleeps four, but it's really a one bedroom place. The sofa bed is in the living area. It's a 3 Star, which is about right. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious.

The garden is mainly lawn. There's a bit of patio with a table and chairs outside the cabin door. You're welcome to use the lawn, but our kids might be out there sometimes too.

There are two other holiday places here, Walnut Tree Cottage and The Old Post Office. They're separate. Good if a few of you want to come but have your own space.

You're just off the main road between Salisbury and Ringwood. It's handy for getting about. You can hear a bit of traffic sometimes.

For walks, you can pick up the Avon Valley Path nearby. It leads straight into the New Forest National Park. We've got a bike store if you bring cycles.

Fordingbridge is about a mile away. It's a small town with shops and cafes by the river. The local pub is a mile up the road. They do food.

Within half an hour you've got Salisbury, the New Forest Water Park, and Moors Valley Country Park. The coast at Bournemouth is about forty minutes drive. National Trust New Forest has good information.

There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's parking right by the cabin.
