Brook Barn

Brook Barn is in Shobley, Hampshire. It's on the edge of the New Forest. It's a converted barn, detached from our house. There's another barn next to it called Meadow Barn, which we also let out. You have your own garden, which is enclosed.

It sleeps six, but just so you know, that's across two bedrooms and a single Z-bed. There's one double bedroom on the ground floor, and another double upstairs. The stairs are a bit unusual, they're carved from local trees. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The main room has high ceilings with beams and a wood burner. There's a kitchen area, a TV, and WiFi. We provide all the bedding and towels. You've got a dishwasher and washing machine, parking, and a BBQ. We allow pets, up to three.

You're right in the New Forest National Park. Ponies and cattle wander past. There are footpaths straight from the gate. The New Forest NPA site is good for maps and information.

The nearest shop and pub are about a mile and a half away. Ringwood is four miles for supermarkets and a leisure centre. If you like the coast, Bournemouth and Poole's sandy beaches are about a 40-minute drive.

Within half an hour's drive, you can get to the Beaulieu Motor Museum, Moors Valley Country Park, or the market towns of Fordingbridge and Salisbury. The cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury are a bit further, but still within an easy drive for a day out.
