Grove Barn
Grove Barn is near Newport on the Isle of Wight. It's a detached barn conversion, so you've got your own space. It looks out towards Carisbrooke Castle, which is nice to see from the garden.
It sleeps five, across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. You do get a hot tub.
The inside is open plan downstairs, with a wood burner. There are a lot of exposed beams, so just watch your head in places. It's all on one level inside, which is handy.
You're about a ten minute drive from Newport for shops and things. For a day out, Robin Hill or The Monkey Haven are a couple of miles away. We like the garlic farm that way too.
The coast is easy from here. Going west gets you to the more open beaches, like Compton. South takes you to the resort towns like Shanklin and Ventnor. The Needles are at the far west end of the island, about a 40 minute drive.
For facilities: there's parking right outside, a dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. We have a cot if you need it. You can bring up to two dogs.
