Willow Barn - Fernhill Farm
Willow Barn is on our farm, Fernhill Farm, just outside Wootton Bridge on the Isle of Wight. It's a converted barn, so the ceilings are high and it feels quite spacious. You've got your own bit of patio and lawn out the back through the big doors.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner in the main living area for cooler evenings. We include the WiFi and there's a washing machine. Parking is right outside.
You can bring up to three dogs. The garden is enclosed but it's not fortress-like, so you'd need to keep an eye on an escape artist.
The farm is quiet and in the countryside, but you're not remote. Wootton Bridge village is a short walk away. There are nice walks from the door, including around Firestone Copse. The coastal path is easy to get to as well.
A hotel with a spa is about 200 metres down the lane. If you book, they give our guests a discount on treatments. They've also got a restaurant if you don't want to cook.
By car, you're about 15 minutes from Cowes and Ryde. Osborne House is a short drive away. The whole island is easy to explore from here.
