The Camber
The Camber is in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. It's a big town house on Northwood Park Road, right next to the park. It sleeps ten people.
It's got five bedrooms spread over five floors. Three bathrooms. It's a tall house. The stairs are steep and some are spiral. They're fine if you take your time.
The kitchen is big and modern, you can all fit around the table. There's a games room in the basement with a pool table and table tennis. Outside, the garden is enclosed. There are a couple of patio areas with seating and a barbecue.
It's a four star place. That means it's well kitted out and comfortable. Beds are good. All the bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. The usual things.
You can walk into Cowes town centre in a few minutes. The high street has a lot of independent shops. Plenty of places to eat. The Red Jet ferry terminal from Southampton is about five minutes walk. Cowes Yacht Haven is right there.
The nearest beach is Cowes Beach, about a seven minute walk. There's sailing, of course. You can go paddleboarding, kayaking, that sort of thing. The whole island is good for walking. The coastal path is excellent.
If you want to explore, Osborne House is about ten minutes drive. The Needles are about forty minutes. There are lots of events: Cowes Week, the Isle of Wight Festival, things like that.
