The Coach House

The Coach House is in Wootton, on the Isle of Wight. It's a semi-detached place, sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, a super king with its own shower room. That's handy if someone doesn't want stairs.

It's down a private road, so it's quiet. The grounds are wooded and go right down to the beach. You get your own gate and path. It's about 200 yards to the shore. From the garden you can see across the Solent to Portsmouth and the Spinnaker Tower. There's a hot tub on a raised deck with a cover over it.

Inside, it's modern and well set up. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, that sort of thing. All the bedrooms have smart TVs with Netflix already on them. The living room has a PlayStation 4 with some games.

You might see red squirrels. They're around the woods here.

For shops and a few more places to eat, Ryde is the nearest proper town. It's got a big sandy beach and a promenade with things like bowling and tennis. A local pub is about a mile and a quarter away.

If you're driving, you can get to a lot of the island's spots within half an hour. Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle are close by. Cowes is about twenty minutes. The Needles or Ventnor would be a bit longer, maybe forty minutes.

Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, parking. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
