Far Horizons
Far Horizons is a detached house in Nettlestone. It's in a quiet street, mostly houses. You can see a bit of sea from the upstairs windows.
It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not showy. There's plenty of space.
The good thing is you're only a five minute walk from Seagrove Bay. It's sandy and at low tide you can walk a long way in either direction. One way you get to Priory Bay. The other way goes to Puckpool, which has a park.
The village of Seaview is about half a mile away. It's on the seafront and has a couple of good pubs that do food.
For a day out, Osborne House is about fifteen minutes by car. Carisbrooke Castle isn't much further. Ventnor Botanic Gardens are about a twenty-five minute drive, down the other side of the island. Ryde has shops, restaurants, a swimming pool and a bowling alley, which is useful if the weather turns. Cowes is the yachting town, about twenty minutes away.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, wifi, and parking for two cars on the drive. The garden is enclosed. Bedding is included and we can provide a highchair. No pets, sorry.
