Far Horizons
Far Horizons is in Nettlestone, on the Isle of Wight. It's a detached house, so no one's attached to you. It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
It's got that 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, not a show home. The upstairs rooms look out over the rooftops and you can see a bit of sea. It's in a quiet road, just houses.
You can walk down to Seagrove Bay in a few minutes. It's a sandy beach. At low tide, you can walk for miles along the sand. One way goes to Priory Bay, which is very quiet. The other way goes to Puckpool Park, which has a play area and a cycle path.
Seaview village is about half a mile. It's right on the front and has a couple of good pubs that do food. Ryde is the nearest proper town. They've got an indoor pool, a bowling alley, and the usual shops.
If you want a day out, Osborne House is close by. It was Queen Victoria's place. English Heritage Osborne House. Carisbrooke Castle is inland a bit. Cowes is the big one for sailing. The ferry from Portsmouth comes into Fishbourne, which isn't far from here.
Things here: the garden is enclosed. There's parking. It has a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. We allow one well-behaved dog.
