Bungalow 3

This is Bungalow 3. It's one of the bungalows at Fort Spinney in Yaverland. The site is right by the sea, less than two minutes' walk to the beach.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms, one double and one twin. There's one bathroom with a shower. Everything is on the ground floor, which makes it straightforward if stairs are an issue. You can bring one dog. It's got a 4 Star rating.

You get a small enclosed garden at the back with a table and chairs. It's a good spot for a drink in the evening.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, a TV with Freeview, and Wi-Fi. The bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and highchair in there if you need them.

The beach is sand and shingle. It's a long stretch. You can see the red and white cliffs. If you're interested in fossils, the Dinosaur Isle museum is just along the coast.

You can walk along the promenade into Sandown. It's flat and takes about fifteen minutes. Sandown has a pier, some amusements, and the usual seafront stuff. There's a zoo just before you get into town.

There's a pub and a restaurant about half a mile away. The nearest shop is in Sandown, about a mile.

If you want to explore, Shanklin is the next town along the coast. You can walk there on the coastal path. Further afield, places like The Needles, Osborne House, and Blackgang Chine are all within about a 30 minute drive.
