The Galley is a bungalow on the Isle of Wight, near Apse Heath. It's attached to our house, but it's completely private. The main thing is the view from the back, it looks out over open fields.
It's all on one level, so there are no stairs. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got the 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. You get your own enclosed patio area with that view.
There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can take up to two dogs.
The local shop and the pub are about a ten minute walk away. The beach at Sandown is a ten minute drive.
For getting around, you're fairly central on the island. Cowes is about twenty minutes by car. The steam railway at Havenstreet is close by. For a good walk, National Trust Isle of Wight has details. The Brading Roman Villa is very near, and Carisbrooke Castle isn't far. Osborne House in East Cowes is worth the trip if you like that sort of thing.
