Elm Cottage is in Ventnor, on the Isle of Wight. It's semi-detached, there's another cottage joined on. You get your own enclosed garden.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean. Pets are welcome, up to two.
The cottage is in the Undercliff. It's a special area between the cliffs and the sea. It's sheltered and warm, so different plants grow here. The microclimate is a fact, you'll notice it.
You're about 300 yards from the coast path and access to the shore. The nearest proper beach with sand is a drive away. Ventnor town is just under two miles. It's a typical Victorian seaside town. There's a paddling pool for kids on the esplanade. The Spyglass Inn is a famous pub down there.
For a bigger day out, The Needles is about a 40 minute drive. Osborne House, Queen Victoria's old place, is maybe half an hour. Carisbrooke Castle is inland, also around half an hour. The island's good for cycling if you bring bikes.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. We provide a highchair and stairgate if you need them.
