The Lodge - Ventnor
The Lodge is a modern bungalow type place. It's near Ventnor, but it's up in the countryside at Whiteley Bank. Good if you want to be away from the main roads.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed, one with twins. Memory foam mattresses on all of them, so they're quite firm. One bathroom.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The living area is open plan. There's a decent sized, private garden that's fully enclosed. Hot tub out there, which you've got to yourselves.
You can walk straight out onto the downs from the garden gate. Good for dog walking or just getting some air.
Ventnor town and beach are about a ten minute drive down the hill. It's a proper seaside town with a sandy beach, cafes, and a small harbour. The microclimate means it's often a bit warmer there.
On-site parking for a couple of cars. There's an electric vehicle charger. Wifi works fine. You can bring up to two dogs.
