The Lodge - Ventnor
The Lodge is in Whiteley Bank. It's behind our main house but completely separate, with its own garden and hot tub at the back. You look out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside, feels quite new. The main room is all open plan so you're not cut off if someone's cooking. The bedrooms are fine. One has a kingsize bed, the other has twins. They've got memory foam mattresses.
You can get straight onto the downs from the garden gate. That's the main point of it, really. Good for walks. You can bring dogs, up to two.
Ventnor town is a ten minute drive down the hill. It's a proper seaside town with a sandy beach, some cafes, and a few shops. It gets the sun. The coastal path runs through there if you want a longer walk.
There's a pub in the village, about half a mile away. They do food. You've got parking on the drive.
If you're bringing a car, there's an electric vehicle charger. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. The garden is enclosed.
