Westgate Cottage
Westgate Cottage is in St Lawrence, just outside Ventnor. It's a stone cottage from the 17th century, detached. It's in a quiet spot.
It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The garden is walled and gated, so it's secure for dogs and kids. There's a table tennis table, some recliners, and a BBQ. You can hire a hot tub from a local company if you want one, we don't organise it.
The village has a post office and a shop about half a mile away. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half. Ventnor itself is a short drive. You can buy fish off the boats on the esplanade there.
Steephill Cove is nearby. It's a nice little cove, not too built up. The Botanical Gardens are also close. Good for a wander.
You're right on the edge of the coastal path for walking. For other days out, National Trust Isle of Wight has places like The Needles and Carisbrooke Castle. Osborne House is about a 40 minute drive.
Facilities: everything on the list is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking. TV is the basic Freeview kind. Bedding and towels are included. We take up to three dogs.
