Property 1
Property 1 is a barn conversion on the Isle of Wight, near Ventnor. It’s one of two cottages in a small courtyard, set back from the road. You get your own enclosed patio and garden, with a BBQ, and the views over the fields are really good.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s a 5 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well finished. The living area is upstairs to make the most of the view. The stairs are fairly typical for a barn conversion, so mind your head if you're tall.
Ventnor town and the beach are about a five minute drive away. It's a mix of shingle and sand. You can get boat trips from the harbour. The town has a few decent places to eat and some interesting shops. There's a local pub within walking distance, about half a mile.
If you're looking for things to do, the Ventnor Botanic Garden is close by. Blackgang Chine is nearby for families. For a proper day out, you can drive to The Needles at Alum Bay, or visit Carisbrooke Castle. Osborne House is about half an hour’s drive.
The facilities cover what you'd need. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
