The Farriers is on our farm in Wroxall. It used to be a stable block, sort of. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and has good facilities.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed, the other has adult-sized bunk beds. There's one shower room with a walk-in shower.
It's open plan inside. Kitchen, dining table, living area all in one space. French doors go out to your own garden. It looks out over our fields. There's an electric vehicle charger on site.
A few things to know. The entrance and ground floor are wheelchair accessible, but there's a small step into the shower. The farm is working, so you'll see and hear tractors sometimes. We're on a bus route, which is handy.
The best bit is the access. From the farm gate, you're straight onto the old railway line. It's part of the Red Squirrel Trail. You can walk or cycle for miles without going on a road. The beach at Ventnor is about five minutes in the car.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair here if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
For things to do, the National Trust Isle of Wight page is good. The island's small, so most places are within half an hour. Ventnor Botanic Garden is close. Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle aren't far.
