The Farriers is here in Wroxall. It used to be a farm building. It sleeps three, two bedrooms and one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's comfortable and clean.
The main room is open plan, kitchen and living area together. The French doors go out to your own garden. It looks out over the farm's fields, which is nice. The shower is a walk-in one. The stairs are a bit tight, just so you know.
You're on a working farm. There's on-site parking and an electric vehicle charger. It's all wheelchair accessible to get in. The facilities are there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
You get private access onto the old railway line from the farm gate. That's part of the Red Squirrel Trail. Good for walking or cycling without going on the road. Lots of footpaths branch off from there.
The beach at Ventnor is about a five minute drive. The farm is on a bus route too, if you're not driving. For a day out, you've got the whole island. The Needles and Alum Bay are about half an hour's drive. Osborne House is similar.
